Wow, this is really well written, good job. Can't wait to see whats in the hut though...

Pokemon does take place on Earth, in fact, they visited Las Vegas in one of the episodes. But I think, it takes place mostly in Japan, because they do have regions named Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn, Sinnoh (Sp?). That being said, they probably have lots of real animals.

The ability to create, is too god-like for me, I'd rather stick with shapeshifting, that way I can use most super powers people come up with Besides, "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely."

1. Crobat
2. Aerodactyle
3. Starmie
4. Alakazam
5. Persian
6. ??? (I need a fast pokemon that fills the open niches of this team, any suggestions?)

Mine would probably be a speed gym For my party I would have: Ninjask, Starmie, Persian, Sceptile, Aerodactile, and Alakasm. The puzzle would probably be a countdown timer, inside of a maze. Trainers would not affect the timer.
