Now, I've been recently been bestowed with a large sum of money for many events in my academic life, as well as forty dollars from my dad while he was drunk at a party yesterday. 8)
The main question here is should I get a GBA SP? I already have a regular GBA that I got a few years back, and my brother says that I'd be stupid for shelling out $100 for another Gameboy. I'm pretty happy with my current GBA, but this GBA SP seems pretty tantalizing, seeing that it's orange, which is one of my favorite colors. So for all those who have an SP, is it really worth it? Or should I just stick with my old GBA?
Should I...?

Thats was a very biased opinion Pokemon Hero.
I myself do not own a GBA SP, but have been considering buying one and find myself in a position similar to yours. From what I've gathered, here are the pro's and cons';

Pro's
- You can actually see the games on the screen with the built in light
- No more buying batteries - it comes with a rechargeable battery, and you can still play while it is recharging
- Small and comfortable design
- Almost exactly the same as the old GBA
- Some people complain about the shoulder buttons, though I personally have no problem with them from what I have tried
- The battery can take 3 hours to fully charge up - not much maybe, but not as fast as popping in 2 new batteries
- No head-phone jack, unlike the old GBA

Yeah, that reminds me. I wanted another GBA so I can transfer my Golden Sun file to GS2 without having to write out a long password.
I recently received a set of GBA headphones from Nintendo, so headphones won't be a problem (they plug into the connection cable jack). They're pretty spiffy, I must say. Also, recharging batteries is not a big deal, because when I had a GBP, I had a set of rechargable AAA batteries that I charged at night when I was sleeping.
My brother has an old-school GameBoy, AKA by fans as the "ToasterBoy" due to its size. He has this kind of pride with old game paraphernalia.

lol, me and my pals always called the old GameBoy 'The Brick'.
But you know, pikachu3828 brought up some good points. If you aren't pressed for cash, I'd say go for it. I'd sell your old GameBoy Advance, but I guess you don't want to because of the Golden Sun file transfer thing. I don't blame ya. 8)
Of course, if you have a Gamecube, you could always just follow me and get the GameBoy Player. GBA games on da big screen! :lol:
