Drawing anime

I've recently taken a shine to anime, and I'm considering giving this website it's own mini-PokÃƒÂ©mon orientated webcomic, in anime style of course ^_^

I'm currently very crappy though, so I'm still practicing. From time to time I will basically keep editing this post and adding more anime drawings as I go, as I need to start practicing before I leap right in.

I've been doing loads of random drawings but I think I've come up with two potential characters for the comic. Neither have names, any suggestions? Comments? Complaints? Anything?

well i can say this: its good for a first time. Learning anime is tough. my sis spent years drawing anime.

Ooo, nice. I've never tried drawing anime and probably never will since like kirbypika said, it takes practically forever to master it ><

right on brother. I wish i was that good when i started out. Its really good for first time drawing anime. Keep up the good work!!

well we dont scan her pictures... she does have one tho, its kinda bad when its scanned tho... Ask her if you wanna see it.

Yeah our scanner is pretty bad and my friend scanned one of my pics to find it kinda crappy too. I would be glad to show it to you.

AHAHAHHAA!!! XD eh...was drawing Yu-Gi-Oh cuz i felt like it.

For those who are confused...I drew the Yami Marik as his REAL age. (which is what? 6 or something) and i made up a bunny plushie for him that kinda has different expressions. Marik/Malik back there...i dunno what he's doing. getting annoyed or something. Blank eyes are fun to draw!! ^__^

Ok, my early work was really crappy. I've since bought books on how to draw animÃƒÂ© and I've been working on character designs for this PokÃƒÂ©mon animÃƒÂ© webcomic I hope to make. The two characters are at the bottom of the first page. The first guy I'm thinking could be some sort of gym leader, the second guy, I dunno, maybe the hero?

Anyway, what does everyone think of these two characters? They're not exactly original but I've got to be able to draw faces before I can come up with my own characters. That said, they're both from memory as I had nothing in front of me when I was drawing them, which is why I've only done two. Drawing from memory is so hard ^_^ I think the second guy's right eye is too big myself o_O

yeah, they're much better than the other ones. Drawing from memory is hard. My sister usually looks at a picture of the thing she is drawing and find out what it looks like in that angle...

WoW!!! Those are awesome drawings considering they're from memory. I think I have those artbooks looking at your pics. Heh. Don't use em really. ^__^; I personally think they're great. Keep working and pretty soon you can do a great body pose or something like that.

I think my pic up there is crap now. -____- i usually think that with most of my drawings...oh well that wasn't my best work. Yeah i usually look at random things and try to memorize it. and then draw something by myself. I'm working on not using reference since i find myself using less and less.
