What happened yesterday is a terrible tragedy, 7 bombs going off, killing ~40 people and injuring over 700. I sincerely doubt the Olympics was the reason behind the bombings because they seem just too organised to be a spur-of-the-moment thing. Firstly 3 bombs go off in succession on the underground, as people start to panic 3 more go off and as people are ushered out of the underground and onto above-ground trasnport a bomb goes off ripping apart a double decker bus. Pure evil. However the Olympics could have been the trigger. Who knows.

So far a group has claimed responsibility for the attack, purporting to be part of Al Qaeda

The website has previously carried statements purporting to be from al-Qaeda. It is not possible to verify such claims published on the web.
It is a sad day for London, but officials and Londoners want to get back to their way of life as quickly as possible. I myself will be travelling into London soon. The purpose of these terrorists is to strike fear into peoples' lives and disrupt our way of life. If we get back to our ways of lives as quickly as possible we show them we are stronger than they are and their efforts are nullified. London has been standing for over 2000 years and has survived many attacks. The strength and resilience of London, Britain and indeed the whole of the western world will far outlive these extremists and their "cause".

All there was about the 9/11 thing at my school is a moment of silence. The new building replacing The World Trade Center is the Freedom Tower. I don't have a clue why anyone would hurt people just because they hate them or something like that.

Don't you all see! the bombings, 9/11, the sunami, all the diseases, poisons and killing! There's nothing we can do! It's Armageddon! I really hate to say this, but I myself think this is just the Beginning. Everyone, watch yourself...
