Re: Digimon - Digidestined once, now Digidoomed?
Digimon hasn't fully died yet, its still quite popular but is mire submerged. Pokémon had recieved so much fandom that everyone wanted a piece of it and now it won't be allowed to die until they've milked it for all its worth. Digimon can be saved someday but when Pokémon dies in about 2'000 years, it'll take a few 100'000 years for it to ever resurface. Thats the problem, it needs to stay interesting, but Digimon was only glanced at by the general public. If Digimon survives long enough, when Pokémon dies down it'll take over. At least thats my opinion. Everything has its day, if we truly love something we as loving loyal fans will let it reast, but we won't let it die.
Tell your children, pass on your cards, but remember Pokémon had its hay day and it was ours.
