what is it about?

Yes. =) Nice series. Too bad the anime ended.

I've sort of heard of it... then again some of my local cosplayers did a fairly ammusing skit featuring Take That's Let it shine.


I'm dying to watch it myself...

The link in Kikyo's post will no longer work, unfortunately. I did finish the anime just a few days ago. It's 26 episodes total, and really isn't half bad. The last episode was really good, but at the same time, kind of disappointing, as though there was something missing...

could i get a series synopsis... like the kind you'd see on the back of a manga/DVD?

Unfortunately,
all the episodes on youtube and stuff were deleted,
due to copyrite infringement.
I think that may mean that they're going to
have an english version soon,
to be realeased on cartoon network or something...

It takes place a a high-class school that, normally, only the rich can afford. The main character, Haruhi Fujioka, actually manages to attend on a special scholarship, when she actually not wealthy at all. She cannot even afford the school uniform, so she remedies this by wearing slacks, polo shirts, and vests. Because of her short hair and large glasses, she's often confused as a boy.
One day, as she look for a quiet place to study, she stumbles upon the 3rd music room, which is the home of the Host Club, which consists of six members. While she's there, she accidentally knowks over a vase worth a large sum of money, and they hire her to be their slave in order to pay off the debt. i've watched some of the anime at a friend's house, and heard about it too. i believe i remember seeing it first as a manga advertisement. it looked like one of those serious series, maybe even violent. but i appeared to be completely wrong when i saw the show.
pretty funny, i might actually read it sometime.

Got both DVDs over the past year, got vol 1 signed by Vic when i got to the convention.

introduced my sister to the anime, she absolutly loves the series. Especally the Hittachin Twins.

the truth is, i'm better off watching cos-players than these cartoonized versions..

I watch it. It's really good. Funimation channel also plays reruns all the time.
