how do you battle in the ashgrove gym, and is the leader mewtwo?

You can't as of now. You have to have 7 badges to get in

No, you see, when you go to the gym, do you see how you can't get in? Well, it just means the gym is closed. It has nothing to do with Mewtwo.

we have no idea of that mewtwo's purpose. It would be nice if Mewtwo was that gym leader's pokémon though.
