Gotta say, growing and feeding a petaya berry helps my little charmander along nicely since I don't get as many clicks as most poeple. (I blame the 2kinds forum members for not being as click happy.) Though I wish I could get my hands on more than the petaya berry and cherri berry. Even just one of a different kind now that I know how to actually raise them.

Edit: since I need 3 different berries to make a smoothie, can someone pleas help me with a berry or two? I don't care what kind, common would even be prefered since I'd be able to make em fast, just need some berries to work with seeing as the tran station keeps giving me the same people and it's nearly impossible for me to win the bug contest since the train won't give me the stupid bug scanner. (been checking in there every day since I started)

i think that is it but it is essential if you want to evolve certain pokemon though. better to have it available and not need it than to have something that needs it but not have the ability to use it.

anyways i'm well on my way to having Beedrill. just a few more levels. Zubat is a single level off as well. Too bad it will pretty much hit Crobat before anyone can record Golbat as seen. lol

Really? you could have spent 3000 credits better... on WHAT? i'm sorry, but right now there are 4 things to buy, 1 is an everstone which will stop your pokemon from evolving (assuming it works the same as its game), and 2 are items that are only used on Sevi 3 itself... and then there's the ticket. there's nothing else to buy.

yeah it kind of sucks but think of it this way, how many pokemon evolve via a bizzare method? you've got 7 via learned moves and 3 with items... that's 10 evos that island can handle. We still dont have moss rock or ice rock for the eeveelutions (which is because eevee isnt avaialable yet) but that could show up at either Oak's place on sevii 2 (where the sinnoh magnet is) or it could end up on sevii 3. And has anybody thought how mantyke will evolve, or how to get shedinja even?

Remeber this is all that's available NOW - in future updates, more could be added to the island, but its not a waste of 3000 money when there's nothing else to spend it on (at least not until you get to sevii 3)

i think i've gone overboard on glameow breeding. i have 72 glameow eggs atm. i wish crazy cat guy would come to the train station soon. One the bright side Fossil Digging Tomorrow!

Ok, allow me to explain. Keep in mind that I only have knowledge of the first 250 pokemon. Beyond that I know as much about the new pokemon as a social scientist would know about partical physics. ie nothing. The only ways to evolve I know of besides leveling are giving the pokemon a stone, making them happy when they level, trading, and trading while the pokemon holds an item, all of which can be done without dishing out an additional 2000 on top of the 3000 it took to get the ticket in the first place. These other ways of evolving you mentioned are completely new to me and I don't have the faintest idea of what they are or which pokemon they are for. (PS: I know one of you is thinking "Go look it up you lazy bum." Well, I'm too busy with class work right now to do research on something that only exists digitaly with 2 exams this week, a lab report due and pile of reading to do before tomorrow, so my ignorance is something that is not subject to alieving at this point in time.)

location based evolutions [these require a pokemon to be leveled up at a certian location]:
Magneton -> Magnezone = mt. corronet (replaced with Sinnoh Magnet in the AA)
Nosepass -> Probopass = As above
Eevee -> Leafeon = Moss Rock (not available yet)
Eevee -> Glaceon = Ice Rock (not available yet)

Move based evolutions [these require a pokemon to be leveled up while knowing a certain move]
Lickitung -> Lickilicky = Rollout
Tangela -> Tangrowth = Aincentpower
Aipom -> Ambipom = Double Hit
Yanma -> Yanmega = Aincentpower
Piloswine -> Mamoswine = Aincentpower
Bonsly -> Sudowoodo = Mimic
Mime Jr. -> Mr. Mime = Mimic
(all of the above will need Sevii 3 in the AA)

Item Based Evo's [These require the pokemon to be leveled up while holding a certain item at a certain time of day]
Gligar -> Gliscor = Razor Fang at night
Sneasel -> Weavile = Razor Claw at night
Happiny -> Chansey = Oval Stone during day

Other Evos [these are just bizzare]
Mantyke -> Mantine = Level up while having Remoraid in your party
Shedinja -> Level up a Nincada to level 20, Evolving it into a Ninjask with an empty space in your party - in which Shedinja will magically appear

(how that last one will work in the AA i have no idea)

There all your main new evolutions... there's one more bizzare one in Black/White but you dont need to know that for the AA...

I think having an evolution island is needed but not really as fun as people would expect it to be. Then given the fact that there aren't many pokemon that require 'special' means of evolution that are widely obtained it does bring people down a bit. They spend all this money expecting this island to be great, then are normally poor when they get there so even if they do have pokemon that could evolve they are unable to do so yet. It can be a bummer yes but you can't deny that it'll be helpful in the future, things that are needed are not always welcomed until their uses are called into attention. Basically, you don't want it until you need it.

Expanding on Powerchu's answer: The release of Snorunt was a mistake. They (meaning the higher-ups/coders) didn't realize that it was released or where it as located in the coding until it was to late, so they were unable to stop the pokemon from getting out and to the public. Branch evolutions have not been figured out yet on how to work so Snorunt's stone evolution doesn't work quite yet, though no one knows about its other evolution yet. It's a bummer but hopefully it will be figured out in the upcoming update and will be availble...if it's not then I suppose we'll have to continue to wait and enjoy what we have thus far ^_^
