I have a question, what would happen if you evolved a generation 1 that had been in the time pass into a into a Johto Pokemon, would it lose it's retro sprite thing or would it just turn into a generation 2 retro Pokemon?

salac is an EXP giving berry when its held...

Also, i dont know about what happens when you try to evovle a gen 1 pokemon into a gen 2 one... if i'm right, only Eevee has the capability of evolving into its gen 2 pokemon right now. Personally i would think it wouldnt work - especially since there's no sprites for it

No, we cant use Gen 2 sprites just for the johto evolves as a) that takes away from the whole Gen 1 thing and b) maybe, just maybe, Gen 2 sprites will be available as a seperate thing

Hmmm..... I see what you mean. Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see and maybe my Eevee will be able to evolve into that generation 2 Espeon in the near future....

at present, i beleive the plan is that any pokemon you make a generation 1, can only evolve into any other generation 1 pokemon... any pokemon you make a generation 2 will be able to evolve into any other generation 2 pokemon - so if/when it becomes available, you'll need to make a gen 2 Eevee before making it a gen 2 Espeon
