I see, I can't breed it, which is annoying so I might just let it evolve into an Espeon or Umbreon so I can breed it. It's only $200 lost, I'll easily get that back....

Actually at the moment I know a gen 1 Golbat will not evolve into a Crobat as I stopped it but Eevee was a late addition to the update so I haven't put anything in to stop a gen 1 Eevee evolving into Umbreon or Espeon.

This is a bug though and I will fix it when I find time (a few days hopefully) as the idea is each generation of Pokémon is self-contained so a gen 1 Pokémon would have to be converted to a gen 2 Pokémon before it could evolve into something introduced in gen 2.

i evolved my first gen eevee. I had to do coin flips to determine which one i evolved it into. lol

OK, changed v1.4.5 so Eevee can no longer evolve into Espeon or Umbreon if it is gen 1.

Well, since there's an achievement for it and I've not had any luck with my shiny kabuto breeding efforts yet, gonna start trying to breed a shiny buneary and put my evolved one in my party with enigma after budew evolves.

well atm i can't work on my shiny dratini anymore breeding wise. i couldn't tell which dratini had my starf berry when i was accepting a trade and ended up losing it while trying to be nice and giving a dratini to someone. :'( i doubt anyone would be willing to trade me one for a female eevee. lols

I almost hate that eevee is released now. I always liked having an all eevee party composed of the first six forms, but I came so far with charmelion, and if I go with my all eevee party, I won't get anywhere with evolutions. :'(

Unlucky.... maybe you're be able to get a new one? I'm not actually trying to get to any achievements at the moment, I just train up the Pokemon I want to train up, it's not actually based on what the achievements say... I'm training up starters to be honest, not actually trying to go to the "Now That's Retro" achievement either... but maybe I'll work slowly towards the level 50 one, I won't be the first but hey!
