Hey, I'm TRYING to win the bug contest, but I hardly ever see a bug over the 2,000,000,000 mark, let alone one that puts me into the top 3.

Doubt I'll ever win 10 times at this rate

2 questions: 1, what makes you so sure he saw a pokemon you didnt? and 2, what makes you so sure he didnt see several pokemon someone else will?

this competition isnt over, and wont be for a few more weeks. there's every chance undead may not be the winner this time, just as there's an equal chance he will be

you could make one of your pokemon shiny and then trade it, but the rules definatly state that you can change one of your pokemon - as such, you have to own the pokemon when you make it shiny

thems the rules we've been coming up with - if these contests continue, making pokemon shiny may not be the only prize available - yet to be released pokemon or special items may be awarded instead... so it will always be given to the winner - what they do with it afterwards is obviously up to them

and owning the pokemon is defined as it being in my box or party when it is made shiny yes?

yes, exactly - it would have to have your user id as its ownerid in the database - so any pokemon you have that's in your box or party is one you own
