Christmas Egg
So, if any of you were around on Christmas day and visted a lonly Delibird high on a snowy mountain top, you'll have been given an egg which is going to take a LONG time to hatch - so, while we all wait for it to hatch - here's the place where you can post your theories on what is in the egg...
I personally have it narrowed down to 2 choices, but i'm very interested in knowing what everyone else things is in the egg before i tell you what i think
So, what do you think is in the egg?

Re: Christmas Egg
at first i was thinking eevee then did reasearch and found that was wrong. between porygon and dratini in national dex sort gives a few possibilities.
Omanyte
Kabuto
Aerodactyl
Snorlax (most likely canidate n my oppinion)
Articuno
Zapdos
Moltres
that is the list of possibilities i gathered up through my dex research.

Re: Christmas Egg
Omanyte, Kabuto, and Aerodactyl are all fossil type pokemon so I tend to think they'll be found through mining or something of that nature. Personally I'm pretty sure it's Articuno, it makes the most sense seeing as how it's a winter time egg plus it taking so long to hatch makes me think legendary. Though it could be Moltres (toasty fire to keep us warm sort of thing)
Those are just my thoughts, but I hope my first guess is right because Articuno is by far my favorite pokemon
Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part

Re: Christmas Egg
Well it HAS to be a rare Pokemon for it to take this long to hatch, but personally I am not sure on what it could be. I am liking the ideas of Articuno but I am thinking possibly maayybbee a Celebi? But that's just a guess of course this is fun waiting for the egg to hatch, mine is already at level 3 I think and hasn hatched >.<

Re: Christmas Egg
I am almost 100% positive it's Articuno! Reasons for this are as followed:
1~It makes sense a legendary would take a really long time to hatch...wouldn't it? It's not a normal egg so no reason to expect it to hatch normally!
2~Winter time calls for wintery things...like giant ice birds! What better way to say Merry Christmas than to give us a pokemon that can create a bunch of snow? XD
3~It is known that Articuno lives in snow mountain areas...and where was Delibird? On the top of a snowy peak!
Those are just my reasons...to me it all logically rolls into one conclusion...we have recieved an Articuno! If not then I will be very very surprised...but there's always those types of surprises in life, right? You completely and logically expect one thing and yet another thing happens..I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Re: Christmas Egg
Resurrecting this topic for a reason. When I first guessed at the egg I thought that it may have either snorlax or articuno. Articuno was possible because of the whole winter/snow/ice thing but I actually thought it was going to be snorlax more because I doubted pikachu3828 would have only released one of the birds instead of doing all 3 at once.
In case you haven't read the chat room thread, powerchu's x-mas egg hatched and inside was an articuno. So cased closed, right?
Well it might have been, had I not just seen somebody elses breeder card with a Zapdos in it. I never considered the possibility that the x-mas egg was a random chance of either bird, but It's looking more likely to be the case
Anyone got or seen a Moltres to confirm this?

Re: Christmas Egg
If I may so incline to ask....Why!? We can't breed the three birds and this egg can't be gotten again so we have no chance of getting any of them again unless someone is crazy enough to trade away one of the birds...so this means that all of us will probably only ever have ONE of the legendary birds...Unless he has a trick up his sleeve to help us get these eggs again then I'm slightly peeved. I'm not saying he should go and change it, but I'm a little upset about the fact that not only may I not get a Articuno, but I might not EVER get one...

Re: Christmas Egg
force trading... think about it - if i get an articuno and you get a zapdos - i'd trade with you, then i'd try to trade the zapdos for a moltres and thus dex the lot
failing that - i do have a few secret pokemon i could barter with... but i believe the above method will work for dexing them all, which in the end is what i want - if you want to own them all - well, i wish you luck on that one

Re: Christmas Egg
I doubt many people are going to give up legendaries for other pokemon (unless they're hard to get like the fossel pokemon) There's a chance they might trade them for old promo's but those of course would be the newer people who didn't get them when they were given. There's a few ways to try and actually own them all, so it might be possible, but dex'ing them all shouldn't be a problem in the least. I just hope I get an Articuno...

Re: Christmas Egg
That would be cool if this becomes a tradition! Like every christmas we could get the egg and have a change of getting one of the birds.

Re: Christmas Egg
*le gasp!* That Pikachu has an idea! o.o Oh what if other major holidays gave us pokemon, items or even trainer images! Like on valintines day we could get the 'Young Couple' image! Or Easter make all the eggs colorful and maybe a Chansey can be around somewhere and give us something...Eggs...Chansey....seemed to make sense to me lol I don't know...but I do like the idea of the Chirstmas tradition thing! That gives people who join later a chance to get the legendaries too! Yay for collective thoughts/input giving people (or Pikachu's as the case may be) ideas! ^_^
