you cant see your pokemon's happiness figure directly. Some days a person shows up at the train station who can rate your happiness levels (in general terms) of the pokemon in your team, but that's the only way to check unless you can work it all out yourself.

I found the intermediate kit OK, I seemed to get lucky every 4 or 5 goes.

I upgraded last week to the advanced and mine every chance I get (4 full days off work last week) and all I've got is about 2 teeth and 2 powder. So for me the Explorer Kit Advanced has been awful this week.

Maybe it's jsut a generally bad week for mining whatever kit you have lol

Sounds like the chances of mining need to be improved slightly. Since I don't play the game 'properly' myself it's hard for me to gauge how rare things should be sometimes. If you could please make a post in the bugs forum about this I would appreciate it. It's not a bug, but when I develop a new update I go through that forum so I'll notice the topic and remember.

I know this is going to sound really stupid, but I've been searching, probably in the wrong spot...

Is being the Golden User random? If it's not, I don't care if whatever is the spoiler isn't given away, but I feel like I'm breaking something somewhere somehow since I'm on 3 already.

yeah, its random... but its picked from the list of active people in the last week.

That means that instead of the near 600 breeders to choose from, it only chooses from the 90-100 breeders that have been active in the last 7 days

How do you evolve an Eevee into a Glaceon or a Leafeon?

eggs are hatched by time, although level of an egg can decrease their time. The most common of egg takes an hour to hatch, when at level 6 or higher that time is cut in half to 30 minutes and when 16 or higher its cut in half again.

legend pokemon tend to have the highest rarity, with 2 weeks needed before hatching. fossils tend to have the middle rairity, needing 24 hours to hatch. Again, the level of the egg can cut that time down in half and half again if you manage to get it that high

hope that helps

I have a couple questions...

1) For happiness-related evolutions, how happy do they need to be here to evolve? I know the woman at the train station only rates them in vague terms, but is there a certain phrase she uses when they are happy enough to evolve?

2) I was reading back through this thread, and the questions about Nidoking and Nidoqueen got me thinking. When AstaTheBroken was having a breeding issue, she was told that when Pokemon breed, the egg's species is that of the mother, always. In the games, though, this isn't strictly true. Nidoran(f) has a 50/50 chance of producing Nidoran(f) eggs or Nidoran(m) eggs...and Illumise has the same 50/50 chance to produce Illumise eggs or Volbeat eggs. As of Gen V, Nidoran(m) and Volbeat have that same 50/50 shot for egg production when they breed with a Ditto. Is there anything similar in effect for those species here?

...okay, I lied. One more question.

3) I've been finding a ton of Vullaby eggs, and only one has ever hatched a female; all the rest are males. In the games, I believe Vullaby is supposed to be an all-female species. For that matter, I've found a female Rufflet, too. Are all the Pokemon here divided into male and female, regardless of the spread in the games? (I suppose that would make sense, since as far as I know there's no way to get a Ditto.)
