The Official Adoption Agency New Ideas Suggestions Box

Just as the title says this is a Suggestions box topic. In here you the users can post ideas on features that you would like to see added to the Adoption Agency, give ideas to improve the usefulness of features we already have, or things that could be altered to be more appealing to you.

You can make suggestions to make other's ideas better BUT I don't want people saying "oh it's a good idea" or "oh it's a bad idea". If you are gonna comment on someone else's idea give some constructive criticism on why you like their idea or why you don't like their idea and ways it could be improved.

When you post your ideas and suggestions please give as much detail as you can so we can get a better understanding of what you'd want your suggestion or idea to accomplish.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything...I guess this is a little different since it's also a place to suggest new ideas specifically for the AA, rather then just improvement on current features. So it is a bit more of a broad area. I don't know...I'm trying to say what I want to say in a way that doesn't sound rude or angry, and I really hope you know that. ^^' I would hope you'd know me from posting by now that I'm not trying to be rude, Powerchu. lol I guess this is a bit of a v2.0 for it, since it's a bit more broad

ok, changing the name of both this and the other topic - these are supposed to be two different topics, the one you mentioned firefang is for changes that exist to existing mechanics, to which your post would have gone in there. THIS topic is suppose to be completly new ideas to introduce into the AA.

Ok so the two have been seperated now where this one is for new ideas only and the other one is for improvements on already existing features. I got that correct? Alrighty well I'm moving the whole thing about the Rare candies and Meditation island to the other topic then if that's the case ^_^

well... since ive joined ive been trying hard to get 151 pokemon achievement (finally got after much money spent and help from friends) anyways i had an idea.

Everyone has a favorite pokemon (mine being froslass) well how about an achievement of having over 50 or 75 or 100 ish of the same pokemon in your box? it seems likely that'll it would be an enjoyable achievement and it'll be something people will be more willing to do.

personally having an army of froslasses seems awesome to me and to get a prize for it, i'd be all for it.

Pokemon armies is a great fun thing to do that encourages older users to stay active trading and breeding once they have completed their dex as far as they can.

It's almost the same thing with the additional tropius award, except we can choose our own poke.

I'd certainly support this idea to sustain logevity of the site.

How about an achievement containing pokedolls? currently i dont see much of use to collect them, that they are basically a money hole. So how about an achievement to push more people into buying pokedolls. im not completely sure what kind, maybe collecting 100 different ones?

Since i have to share IP addresses, and I'm sure others do, say when I go to my friends house, it's rather annoying to not be able to get or do things because she got to it first... It makes me feel sort of cheated, and I'm sure I'm not alone on this topic...

If there was a kind of restriction on IP addresses though there could be room for a lot of 'cheating' and abuse...That's the only problem, and a HUGE one at that

The only thing I can see you have problems with is gaining money and XP from clicking pokemon. Sicne there is a restriction per day on how many you can click and gain from, then I see no problem as there are over 500 people you can choose.

When you go round your friends house just click a different persons pokemon - problem solved.

I agree with Firefang - if the IP restriction is lifted it makes cheats come, and I don't want cheats.

well i understand vampireties problem, say if she comes over to my house, shed be basically outta luck clicking pokemon. i go on clicking sprees until i cant click anymore. i dont worry on exp or 5$. i want the 100$ and to find the golden user without help of the forum.

unfortunatly, that's one aspect that wont change, and we have no advice on how to solve your somewhat unique problem

the interaction thing is fine the way it is. anyways idea i posted in the chatroom. lol

maybe we could have some sort of shop upgrade shop where you can buy temporary buffs that do different things, they'd work kind of like how energy drink does but you can use them at different places to do different functions.

like one could be something for meditation island where it extends the timer on which a pokemon can stay if you tend to forget about them (adding another 12-36 hours for example)

or a buff item that could double the effectiveness of perks for a day for 50,000 poke. lol

A search Function that lets you pull up a list of all of a single species pokemon currently in breeders parties if youve seen the pokemon in your dex. Or at least a function on to search for all of the daily 4x exp pokemon in breeders parties.

The latter seems more practical, but the former can have its uses as well.

I know this has been quiet for awhile, I wanted to post this here in the suggestions box

I think we should have some cool little birthday thing for people! I don't know if that can be done, but I think it would be cool! Get a gift possibly, and it could be random which one you get possibly, or it's set...though random would be cool that way not everyone gets the same exact gift so it's always a surprise! Ideas could include:
-Starman
-Rare Candy
-Rare Pokemon Egg (possibly a 'birthday exclusive' egg though this may not be good if it can be bred and someone gets a female)
-Good Chuck Of Breeder EXP
-Good Chunk Of Money
-A pokemon of your choice, or a random one in your party, gets a chuck of exp/happiness (though you already can get this with hourly gift, so probably not a good idea afterall...)
-x3 exp for the pokemon in the persons party for the day (Or higher depending if you'd want it to be more then the Golden User since it's once a year, or less if you want Golden User to be the biggest thing)
-Be Given Golden User Status Automatically (nevermind that wouldn't work if there were multiple people with the same birthday and it could mess up the schedule)
-All NPC Shops Are 15% Cheeper (Birthday discount pretty much)
