Okay, so I had a bunch of eggs in my box, and I was switching them with one pokemon from my party to officially "catch" them. So, I just had a hoppip, and I switched it for another already hatched egg. I checked my profile and saw that it was another hoppip. I checked my pokedex and saw that there was no new caught pokemon. So, I finally went back to my box to "hatch" another egg, and when I had to pick a pokemon from my party to switch out, the hoppip had turned into a slakoth.

was this second hoppop displayed on your trainer card, or actually underneath with the regular pokemon?

I only ask because if it was on the trainer card itself, the problem could have been that the image on the card hadnt updated and was still displaying the first hoppip

I kinda forgot, but I'm pretty sure it was just the trainer card.
