Pokemon IDs don't match mine?

I go into my box, and I've been trying to switch my Goldeens and Remoraids into my party. But when I click swap with one of my Party Pokemon, it says that the ID does not match up to mine. I caught mine in the Port, does that effect it? Also, when I go to a random event, it tells me I cannot.

changing to a different internet browser would help solve your problem at the moment, or upgrage your firefox to the beta version

there's a strange problem with firefox at the moment that causes it to load a page and then RE-load a page imedietly, this is probably why your having these errors...
