Buggy bug?

Looks like it was either levelled through the ranch or through an hourly gift.

interesting - i would have said that maybe a couple of rare candies were used but i just leveled up this kakuna myself and it still didnt evolve, which it should have done

Just tried to replicate the bug by giving myself a level 11 Kakuna and I successfully evolved it into a Beedrill so it seems to be this specific Pokémon. I can't see anything odd with it in the database, so perhaps Haru Totetsu can shed some light on why this might be happening.

It happened again with one of my brother's pokemon. He has not ever put it in the ranch nor has he used any rare candies on it.

Well could it be that the update has done something to screw up evolving all together? Do we know of ANYONE that has evo'd a pokemon since the update was released? This may seem like spam, but it could be very helpful and shed some light...my goldeen is only one or two clicks from leveling. If it were to be clicked and level we could see if it evolves.

I'd say that someone managed to evolve a pokemon since the update

also, my pidove evolved today when i took it out of the ranch - so evolution all together isnt busted
