I'm sure this bug is known, but I'm on an iPod that's decided to be very stubborn and lag a lot.
But one of my eggs has decided to level up instead of hatching.
So now I have a level 2 egg in my party.
Again, I'm sorry since this is most likely common.
But would someone share with me the solution to this?

This isn't a bug. Eggs level up much like Pokémon do, but their level resets to 1 when it hatches.
Levelling up an egg reduces the amount of time it takes to hatch, so it's particularly handy if you've ever got a rare egg that takes a long time to hatch.
