Quest problem?

There's a quest called Roark's Lost Sunglasses (which i know from looking at Pikachu3828's quest list.)

I figured it had to do with Roark, so i went all over the mining section, did not activiate the quest. Went to sevi one today, DID pick up the glasses (although the text does read as if you could pick them up without activating the quest but i dont think that's how it should be), i can still not either activate or complete this quest no matter where i seem to go in the Mining Section

When I first went to Mining I was given this quest and it was not mentioned since, however today I got the glasses and another quest but now going back to mining it has nothing like you say WhoKnows_WhoCares.

i'm having the same problem as WK_WC. Can see the glasses on Sevii Island One but no quest to actually find the glasses.

The sunglasses are part of a quest which requires specific conditions to be met to unlock. It seems the sunglasses are being given out without being properly trigged. Going to have to look into this.

I've done a complete reset for everyone for this quest. Nobody has the Sunglasses anymore so apologies if you did the quest legitimately but it looks like 99% of everyone with the sunglasses had them because of the bug.

I just now visited Sevii Island One and got the sunglasses again, even though I do not have the quest.

My fault for being an idiot and forgetting to upload the fixed script to the live version of the site. Removed your sunglasses.

Edit: I went back to Sevii Island One, and did not receive sunglasses this time.
