Can't trade shinies from profile

Something came up where I was trying to trade a shiny Pokemon with someone and it didn't meet the requirements. Tried with someone else's shiny Pokemon and that said it didn't work either.

So apparently it won't let the reciever of a trade request from the profile link give a shiny even if they want to.

it might not be a bug - it depends on how the trade was created - in a custom trade, you can select yes, no or n/a for shiny - in theory, if they've selected no then a shiny pokemon wouldnt meet the requirments. Of course, if it was a simple trade or if they've selecet the n/a option, then a shiny should be an option...

It was just the simple trade you go to from the link on people's profiles :/ I tried it with asking for two different Pokemon from two different people and both said it didn't work. I could give shinies in trades fine.

Clarissa tried to do a test trade with my tyranitar that's shiny. It said none of my pokemon met requirements, despite the fact that it should have shown my tyranitar.
