So, I bred my whismer and cubone, got an egg.
Put it in the egg swap thing-
definitely know it was the right egg, since it was the only one I had-
and the scanner said it was egg 333, swablu.
Only time that's happened, so i dunno if it's an actual bug or not.
Just thought you'd like to know.
