I went there to evolve one of my pokemon using 'Move Evolution' and it said that the pokemon didn't belong to me even though I had it, I then realised that I had left it in the ranch.

Sounds more like an inaccurate error message than a bug per se. Unless I'm missing something.

Yeah, you are right just the error message is wrong, sorry to post it in bugs, but didn't know where else to post it and don't have access to chatroom today to let you know.
