Help
I am having trouble with my Electabuzz... You know the one in XD when you trade togepi? Ice punch, Fire Punch, Thunder punch, Cross chop... [of course T-bolt takes over Tpunch when i have enough money
] But i would like to teach Electabuzz Psychic but he already has a set of good moves.... I mean i'm lacking any Psychic pokemon/moves so i need Psychic... The punches stay (i dont have ice/fire pokemon either) and Cross chop is too cool... need help thanks

Re: Help
Ha ha, you ask for us to give you advice on which move to drop then you state all 4 moves have to stay, you've got to give up onekirbypika wrote: The punches stay (i dont have ice/fire pokemon either) and Cross chop is too cool... need help thanks
You haven't stated if Electabuzz is for ingame battling or competitive battling. If it's in-game I'd just get rid of Cross-Chop, as you said Electabuzz has a higher Sp.Atk than Atk.
I wouldn't worry about Psychic for Electabuzz, it's better to focus on things that can hurt his single weakness of Ground. Thunderbolt can catch water types like Gyarados, Ice Punch for Salamence, Fire Punch for Forretress and so on. Keeping Cross Chop means you can hurt other stuff like Blissey or Snorlax which would otherwise shut you down with it's high SpDef, and it's much harder to defend against someone who uses both Special and Physical attacks than someone who just uses either one or the other. Few things are weak to Psychic anyway, so it's better left on something with STAB like Alakazam, where as the punches + Cross Chop give you better all-round coverage.
If you really insist on using Psychic though, I suggest dropping Fire Punch instead. Everything else can be hurt using your other 3 moves.
