AFAIK, those fish don't have any meat, their just scales and bones.

i have the episode where james gets a magikarp and team rocket and "the twerps" are starving and meowth tries to eat it.

lol but what about the chicken that ash and the others eat? It must come from elsewhere cuz I never see any chickens in pokemon...

Maybe they mostly are vegetarian and they just have meat substitute! Except that they've perfected it. Or was that already mentioned? I don't feel like looking. Darn connection.

well you mentioned Torchic. There's also Combusken but I think it's too protective to be eaten. Remember the episode when the Torchic runs away from the lab and it evolved to a Combusken? Combusken is too protective.

But about Snorllax thatd have lots of meat on it(though i wouldnt eat it)
idbe vegetarion and very little pokemon like moo moo milk washed down with toast on gloom honey(and maybe some of oddish's hair for a salad)

I changed my mind. I could go for a giant Moltres drumstick with Snorlax steaks, yummmmmm! But, I wouldn't recommend hunting Wailmirs or Wailords! Otherwise, you'll end up like Pinochicco inside of Monstro!

I think Team Rocket gives them to Giovanni. If Team Rocket ate the pokemon they steal, they would lose their jobs!

I'm OK with PKMN eating PKMN, but not humans...

I wouldn't mind if it was like a Miltank's milk(as in it came from the PKMN, but is not the PKMN.).
