Something I don't get is why nobody uses weapons in Pokemon battles. That would be a lot easier to eat a Sharpedo.

In fact, why don't the Pokemon aim towards the Trainer like in practically any other series like Zatch Bell! or Yu-Gi-Oh!? I saw a Flash movie that parodied that.

In the Colloseum game, Pokemon that had their hearts closed would attack humans. Although, it only happened once to you at the start of the game.

For what I know of the series/early anime, Pokemon often battle for sport. They don't attack humans since most mean them no harm. If they are threatened by an evil organisation/persons, they do attack humans (a prime example is Team Rocket, whom are commonly blasted away by Pokemon).

i think they do eat pokemon because in the episode when they were on the raft just after the saint anne sunk in kanto they pictured in there minds all the food servings that magikarp that james bought could be made out of

Then mewoth bit into it and couldn't eat it and thus Magikrap is a waste of Pokeballs if you don't plan on making it into a Garaydos.

yes i agree with you but james got tricked into buying it but they still thought about eating it so how did they get that idea of eating it if they dont eat pokemon thats wat i was trying to say

Floating on a raft with little or now food, they start to go into that desparado state. In that they begin to think of ways of getting food just for sake of survival.

Lol!!!!! ya i wouldnt be surprised either and in Pokemon battle fronteir the same guy tried to sell him that one pokemon that i forgot the name of that lookes like magikarp but is actually painted

The Magikrap salesman told him it was a Feebas, though it was really obvious, and then it became a Magikrap. Makes you wonder how bright James and Jesse are.

Anyways...
I wouldn't be surprised is some people would eat Spinarks.
