Re: Eating Pokémon?
Maybe I'd eat a Krabby or Magikarp or or Pidgy or Grumpig Tauros or Miltank, since they resemble animals humans eat,
but I would never eat a Meowth or Houndour or those things- that would be too weird and gross.
I suppose the Pokemon world would have different social customs like that.
Just like how in out world, eating a cat is horrible, and eating Pig is okay.
Plus, there's regional things.
Eating a Guinea Pig is too horrible for me to imagine,
but it's considered a delicacy in some parts of the world.
People in India think its sacrilegious to eat Cows.
So, I bet there's stuff like that in the Pokemon World.
Some places could eat Bunniries, where others keep them as pets.

Re: Eating Pokémon?
I'm thinking about it the other way.
What about pokemon such as Charizard or Tyranitar? I think if pokemon were meant to be eaten, there would also be pokemon who would try and eat humans as well. *coughJames'victreebelcough* Even more so if they were being mistreated by their trainers. O_O
How could humans guard against this if pokemon could be raised and eaten? I'm just going to suspend my logic and say that humans in the pokemon world just have meat magically appear in their storerooms. ^_^

Simple. People in the Pokemon world have sharp objects, a solution has appeared.zen wrote: How could humans guard against this if pokemon could be raised and eaten? I'm just going to suspend my logic and say that humans in the pokemon world just have meat magically appear in their storerooms. ^_^

In our world, that's what's caused most larger animals to learn to stay away from humans, after all.

Not really though, animals such as lions still attack humans even though they have sharp objects and things that make a loud bang. The majority are afraid, but some think it's nice for them to be a hero and kill a human.Kikyo wrote: In our world, that's what's caused most larger animals to learn to stay away from humans, after all.

I don't think social status has anything to do with it. Hunger would be the motivation here.Pikachu90000 wrote: Not really though, animals such as lions still attack humans even though they have sharp objects and things that make a loud bang. That too, I'm sure if humans had only live lions to eat and they had guns, they certainly would eat the lions. No doubt about that.zen wrote: I don't think social status has anything to do with it. Hunger would be the motivation here.

This is going in my sig, no doubt.Pikachu90000 wrote:That too, I'm sure if humans had only live lions to eat and they had guns, they certainly would eat the lions. No doubt about that.zen wrote: I don't think social status has anything to do with it. Hunger would be the motivation here.
EDIT: Argh, frustration noise, too many characters for sig.
