I hope that this next game will have a lot of new, fun features. The game was pretty limited back in the days of R/B/Y/G/S/C because of the console's power, though both managed to be great games. However, I don't think R/S quite improved on G/S/C enough

So I'm just wondering what kind of new features people here are hoping for in this new game? I really hope it's a vast improvement over R/S(/E), it's got no excuse not to be, the Gamecube is far more powerful than the GBA SP.
Although, being on the Gamecube defeats one of Pokémon's once great pulling factors....mobility and linking up. Because the games were on a handheld you could take them anywhere. The Gamecube isn't quite so portable (albeit there is a Gamecube Car Adaptor available, but that doesn't match the portability I'm talking about) Also, linking up. Trading. Battling. Will there be some sort of connectivity with the GBA/DS? Will there be a GBA/DS Pokémon RPG game to coincide the Gamecube game. so you port your Pokémon over to that to battle/trade? Or will it be like Animal Crossing, where you download your party to a memory card and then take that over to your friend's house to battle? That method is less fun, and also means there would be no 4-player battling, because the Gamecube only has two memory card spaces.
So many questions. Peoples' thoughts?
