Original Pokemon English Dub Cast Replaced

Now confirmed by several sources, 4Kids' recent loss of the rights to the popular Pokemon anime series has given control to license owner Pokemon USA to handle all dubbing of future episodes. Because of this, the entire original English cast has been replaced, including such actors as Veronica Taylor and Eric Stuart. The upcoming 10th anniversary special will feature the new cast.

This is a baaaddd thing. We want the same VA's, not new ones that imtate the current ones. Keep the same ones for major charaters, replace for minor charaters. COTD's have all sounded plain, bland and boring. It's time to spice it up a bit. Save the Dub, except for COTD's.

It not just the VA that are going to the writer and prounders of the show too. But if you feel strongly about said NO don't do it. here are a few links to look at....

I have a bad feeling about this...

I'm a little worried for pokemon, cause it might have a effect, if they sound nothing like the original that won't work well.

Where is there refrence to alcohol? If they change it then we will miss the old voices and Veronica Taylor as Ash is a classic for pokemons sake!

for me I be pretty upset about Vt not being they because that mean I have to learn all new voice and it took me 3 years to learn to do misty. yeah I can copy rachel's misty's voice.

I'm not personally a big fan of the animÃƒÂ©, especially as when it WAS on it was at like, 7:30AM xD

I think that new VA's aren't the best thing that happen, sometimes inevitable. They should test these new VA's (10th anniversary special) and when the letterbombs come in they will be forced to re-employ the old gang ;3

They should allow the 10th anniversary Special episode to be special for the original VA's, They worked on this show for 10 years so surely the 10th Anniverary should be one of the special ones for them, and have the new ones come in for the episode after the 10th anniversary.

I've mastered quite a few voices on my own, like Jynx, Mew, Togipi, Vulpix...and so the list continues for about half a mile.....

It might take me for ever to get used to the character's New voices, espacialy Brock's.

KidsWB owned Pokemon, not 4Kids.

KidsWB owned Pokemon, not 4Kids.

Wrong, 4Kids owned the Pokemon anime. The WB just aired it, which is now dead.
