Which type is the most powerful?
As you may already know, there is only one pokemon that has no weakness at all. That pokemon is sableye. Who has a combination of the types Dark and Ghost. When those types are alone, however, tehy have definate weaknesses.
Normal < Fighting < Flying < Ice < Rock < Steel < Fire < Water < Lightning < Ground < Grass < Poison < Psychic < Ghost < Dark < Bug
And, uhh... Dragon >< Dragon
So, yeah. What do you think?
Is Steel the best because so many types do little damage to it?
Is Water the best because there are so many types of water pokemon?
Or is electric the best because there are so many water pokemon that it can beat?
Is Normal the worst because it isn't powerful against any other type, or is it the best because it has a long range of attacks?
This will take some thought...

Psychic is the best type in my opinion. My level 84 *or something* Espeon my my friend's team of lv. 100's *Though that was more than a year ago, and now he sold his game..* And with the move Miracle Eye, it only strengthens my point.

In terms of weaknesses, Normal only has one weakness (Fighting) and an immunity (Ghost). It has no strengths, but it has a wide variety of moves and incredible adaptability. For example, Zigzagoon and Linoone can learn Water, Ice, Electric, and Ghost moves with Technical Machines.
