Hey guys, I want to know, if Nintendo is going to make a Live Action/Animation movie of Pokemon, would you try to apply for it? 'Cause I would!

Funny enough, I was talking to real good friend of mine about somthing like this quite a long time ago...
Also got talking about adaptations for screen in Media class earlier yesterday.
yes, technicly It can be done, if you comapare the advances of CGI has come to bring Scooby Doo & Garfeild to interect with human actors. so It's no longer impossible on THAT front.
Actors I could possibly suggest.
Robert De Nero or Jason Issac - Giovanni
D. Van Dyke - Professor Oak
Daniel Radcliffe - Brock
.... ok I'll stop there before I get Over the top.
One thing to remember - (I did learn this from my friend, also from one of my Tutors at college.) is that no matter what studio you use or who plays who... It has to be in a way that is never before seen, and still appel to people who never seen the Anime or play the games. - beyond all that is complicated.
There has been already, altho long time gone and missed.
A Live action Stage show - "Pokémon Live!"
But you never know what the future holds.
But If there is going to be a Live action Pokémon movie with the alikeness of Scooby Doo and Garfeild and that...
I would be highly intrested in working either on set, vocal for the CGI Pokémon, or possibly play a character.

yes it was.DarkAlex wrote:Pokemon Live was a broadway show.
But as I was saying.
If it was pulled off sucsessfully for the stage, it could be just as sucessfll for the big screen as a live action feature film.
Altho... some to think of it, didn't Pokémon usa say at some point it was eventually going to be released onto VHS / dvd video?

Yes, don't forget, on the whole Movies are shown in the cinema for a relitivly short time, anything between 2 weeks to about 4 Months after their Cinematic release.DarkAlex wrote:VHS/DVD? That's impossible! I think this pokemon should be shown on the big screen.
And about few months later, it's released in the shops on Dvd (used to be VHS before DVD came along)
yes, so on the Technical side of the movie making process, it CAN be done. But the CGI used in Scooby & Garfeild made the character Look Real. Scooby looks like a Real Dog, Garfeild looks like a real Cat. But at the same time allowing the characters Personality shine through, plus if the CGI is done right enough. The CGI Pokémon would look so real, it would blend in well with a real life background and their human character actors. like in Scooby Doo or Stuart Little.DarkAlex wrote: And, I think for the CGI, they should use it from the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit, not the Scooby Doo and Garfield movies!
As with the Specail effects used for Rodger rabbit. yes you can very clearly tell which is the cartoon and which are real people. But Rodger rabbit was to have two differant Relms The land of Cartoon and the real world. somewhat merge together. in that the cartoon where working in the real enviroment.
Again the techicals on that are differant. As it was based from the characters being drawn from hand and timed and positioned so carefully to the Actor's actions and reactions in order for it to beliveable.
With the rate the CGI is improving. pretty much ANYTHING is Possible in the relms of film making.

If they're going to use CGI, then it should be like the graphics in Pokemon Battle Revolution, so the character design doesn't get distorted by real-world variables. Plus, the themes shouldn't be so kid-oriented and actually show the real-world reaction to elemental alien creatures suddenly coming into the hands of people on a large scale.

actually, more like use blass that are no bigger tennis balls (or whatever the size of the fully expanded Pokéball is) that have a shiney surface on one side and a more of a matte side on the other...DarkAlex wrote:What? Oh, and i think they should make fake pokeballs.
so as the guys in cgi could get the spin of the pokéball plus where it lands and everything they need to know to make the pokéball beliveable.
