Because I have added and changed so many MODs and quite often they are not compatible with each other, the forums are rather unstable and can crash with a few simple edits. This is causing me a lot of problems when I want to add some simple features and I cannot without the forums crashing (hence the downtime earlier; I apologise to anyone who got caught in it) A lot of the MODs are also outdated and I would rather not carry on using them. This will mean a lot of features are dropped, yes, but a lot of the features were gimmicky to help try and attract members when the forum was young. The forum is now large and as such I would rather choose reliability over gimmicks now.
Here is a rough guide of what to expect to be taken out and left, along with reasons for some of the choices:

During the next few days (IF all goes ahead as planned) uptime will be sparse, especially to the forums. The main site may be down every now and then but as stated previously the Pikapedia will still be up. Do not worry about the downtime either as I have everything backed up in case something goes wrong.
Due to the changes occuring to the forums, the layout may also change. This will probably not be anything major, however. If the layout does change, it will probably mostly be confined to the header.
Also I would like to add that you no longer recieve Cash for making posts on the forums. The state of Cash flow is far too unbalanced in my opinion due to bugs early on in the game that gave some users massive amounts of Cash and has generally made Cash worthless in the RPG as it is too easy to get ahold of. I may reset Cash at some point to make it fairer, but for the time being I am sectioning off the forum and RPG.
The forum will now be getting its own currency - Pika Points are making a comeback! For those too new to remember/know what Pika Points were, they were an old, doomed currency the forum used some years ago as a reward for doing good things for The Pika Club. Now they are coming back with new uses. They will still be used to reward good deeds, but are now the main currency of the forums. You will recieve only 1 Pika Point for each message you make and you are confined to a maximum of 25 Pika Points a day for that method; after that you may still post but not earn Pika Points for the rest of the day. This is to keep the balance of Pika Points as fair as possible. Pika Points can be donated to other members, perhaps in exchange for services. For example, a new forum is going up where members may exchange services such as custom avatars, signatures and more for Pika Points.
