I am very happy to see many of the old members back and enjoying the forums once again after their long absence. Your words of missing TPC were especially touching! The main website is coming along fine and hopefully it should not be too long before it is back up and running. This announcement is to serve as an update check on how the main website is going.

First of all, I would like to clarify some things members have asked regarding missing posts/RPG data. The last backup made before the website went down was on 04/03/2007. Anything you did on this website on or before that date was saved but regretably anything done after that before the website went down has been lost.

The main website is receiving a cosmetic change, nothing major but it should spruce up the old layout a bit and prevent things like hidden RPG messages and RPG maps that ruin the layout.

I am going to be adding a new field to user profiles soon where you can add your Diamond/Pearl friend code to instead of your signature but until I do I must remind people to obey the Diamond/Pearl FC syntax! A number of you have suggested colour coding the FC line while others have ignored the FC syntax completely. Please do not do this or you will find your FC code removed until you add it correctly, the syntax is there to keep things the same across the forums and make it easy to identify for all members. Red was picked as a colour that stands out, not to match the version you have. That is why the syntax says to state what version you have.

One other point I must make is a reminder of users about the signature and avatar rules of this forum. Signatures have been getting out of hand lately and we will start cracking down on them soon. The rules and regulations can be viewed in the announcements forum, please read it.
