Lately there has been too many people either registering and spamming the forums, or registering under numerous accounts, with no given or real email address. This is annoying and subtracts from the quality of this website, so from now on you must use a valid email address when registering for an account on this website.
Now when you register instead of simply logging in straight away you must wait for an email to be sent to you containing a URL which you must follow to activate your account. Any accounts left unactivated for 24 hours after registering are deleted and you must sign up again. This is a precautionary measure against spammers.
