Modified format changing soon! (updated for 2009 season)

Pokemon USA has announced that the next Modified format will be Diamond & Pearl-on. These sets will be rotated out as of September:

EX: Holon Phantoms
EX: Crystal Guardians
EX: Dragon Frontiers
EX: Power Keepers
POP Series 4
POP Series 5
Promos before DP-01

These sets will be allowed in Modified after September:

Diamond & Pearl
Mysterious Treasures
Secret Wonders
Great Encounters
Majestic Dawn
Sets released after Majestic Dawn
DP Trainer Kit
Promos marked DP-01 and up
POP Series 6
POP Series 7
All cards from non-Modified sets that have been reprinted in the above sets.

Until September 1st, all sets listed will be legal in Modified.

Remember, the Modified format is for sanctioned tournaments, such as City Championships and Battle Roads. This will have no effect on casual play.
