Pokémon battling exploits

My friend offered me a Pokémon battle on Red/Blue the other day that I might very well take up for old times sake. However first I need some help on assembling a killer squad of Pokémon so I win. He has these Pokémon, all at level 100:

1. Mew
2. Mewtwo
3. Venusaur
4. Charizard
5. Blastoise
6. Gengar

What I want to do is build a team that exploits the old battle system ot it's fullest. What I mean is, for example, that Fire Spin would completely screw up a battle for the opponent back in the day because it made them immobile, and that ice beam had a 30% chance of freezing, slash had a 30% chance of a critical hit etc....ideas, anyone?

First of all...
If his mewtwo has amnesia, you ish screwed.
Get a better mewtwo with amnesia. It +2's special, not special defense.
Abuse amnesia as much as possible, I don't know if alakazam has it...

The rest are easy, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres should sort them out.
[Thunderbolt, Drill Peck, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Fire spin will be your good attacks here]

For the other two slots, Whatever you like. I would try to fit in a physical attacker, you could utilise your charizard (Sword Dance, Earthquake, Slash, Fire Blast/Flamthrower?)

Mew-bug or any other strong attack

Mewtwo-bug or any other strong attack. Watch out for amnesia! I hate Snorlax's amnesia in Crystal.

Venusaur-Fire or flying. f you want it more challenging try using a water pokémon with an ice attack.

Charizard-rock, electric, or water

Blastoise- grass or electric (I would suggest electric because Blastoise might know ice moves.

Gengar- Psychic (Ghost does normal damage on Psychic in R/B/Y)
