Sheeze, you've been doing some training, haven't you?

I just have one comment. Most of your Pokemon have mono-type attacks, like Blaziken, for example. But there's really no need for it to have all Fire Blast, Flamethrower, and Blaze Kick. Just Blaze Kick can do, and then there can be other attacks, say Sky Uppercut. It's just good to have different attacks so one Pokemon can tackle many at once without switching.

In a battle against a human opponent, it's vital to have other attacks rather than what the Pokemon learns on its own, and not all its same type. I did that, and that brought upon my own demise in the Pokemon League 2000 competition. >.<;;

The team.

Post by Wobbuffet 905 »

The Team that I described earlier was my Sapphire Team. My Blaziken on my Ruby version knows Flamethrower, Blaze kick, Sky Uppercut, and Hyper Beam. I know it's not much better but that's my Blaziken.

The reason why I gave Blaziken mostly Fire type moves is because there's no need to give it fighting when I have other Pokémon who can take care of it. My Blaziken's Flamethrower knocked out all of Steven Stone's Pokémon when I was at the Pokémon league. o.o;

That's quite a problem. Your team was built to defeat a certain opponent, the game's Pokemon League Elite Four. What I was talking about before is that I got rolled up, squashed, flattened, and totally defeated at the Pokemon League 2000 tour in the REAL WORLD, where players from all over the nation gather at a certain place and just battle it out with their Game Boys and link cables. I lost to a human player, and that's the important thing. Although I was able to win many times and win all the badges in the 1999 tour, somehow my team wasn't good enough the next year.

A good team must be able to adapt to different situations, not just predictable ones like the computer controlled players in the game (like Steven and the others). And they are all low levels, not really LV100s that you'd fight with a human competitor. Needless to say, if you want to have a really good team, you must keep all types of threats in mind, not just the ones at the game's Elite Four.

By the way, Steven's last name just cracked me up when I found out about it. :P

It really doesn't matter about Steven's last name, but...

I think Nintendo canned having the Pokemon League thing, but they used to occur in malls across the US during different times during the summer. They had TCG tables, different Pokemon cups (Prime, Poke, and Pika), and a whole bunch of stations where you could try out new Pokemon games. It was really cool. :D
