Battle Frontier challenges
Some of us have Emerald, and some of us are also at the Battle Frontier, wonderous place of challenges. So... Who's there? I'm intending this thread be to talk about the challenges in the Frontier, and offer advice and the such... I'm no expert, but I've racked up 150+ Battle Points, so I know a thing or two. ^^

I just got a big Charizard Doll from Battle Points. But only the same one silver symbol I had when I posted this thread... (Now I want a Cyndaquil Doll, and that's a whole lot less Battle Points to get.)
But the next place I'm going to hope to win a symbol is the Set KO Challenge at the Battle Arena. I went against the Brain there, Greta, and... When I battled her, I realized how poorly constructed my prized team was... She ripped through them so fast, it wasn't funny... (I typed out how the battle went too, it was really pitifully short...)
You see... She sent out a Heracross... And my team went out in this exact order. (Because you can't rearrange your order once you start the challenge.)
Garnet (Gardevoir)
Linnie (Linoone)
Scepter (Sceptile)
... I beat the Heracross, but not the Umbreon that came out next... So I'm hoping to breed my awesome Weezing I used in Saph... And beat Greta. Bad Greta! >.>

Battle Frontier Jokes
I've been to Battle Frontier, it's oh okauy. For some reason we now Serebii can't help but laugh at Trunker. Because we don't know if he/ she is a boy or girl. We know now that trunker is a crossdressing boy.

If you like you could post your team here with information such as their movesets/nature etc and we could try to help you devise a strategy to beat him

I haven't played on Emerald in a while, (I got frusterated at my losing streak) but here's my main team... And... I plan to add a Weezing in the Battle Frontier team, but I don't know who to take out. Weezing surprised me in how useful he was... I'll post what moveset I *hope* to end up with...
This is approximate, since Emerald is downstairs. ^^;
Garnet the male Gardevoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Nature: Careful
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Future Sight
Reflect
I like Garnet's moveset, and I love my Gardevoir. If I changed anything, it might be the item, or... Future Sight... I use everything to much to consider changing.
Linnie the female Linoone @ King's Rock
Ability: Pickup
Nature: Timid..? (not too sure)
Slash
Shadow Ball
Iron Tail
Thunder Wave
Although the ability is like an empty slot for attacks, Linnie is the member in my team I have dish out physical attacks. (it's that, or Whiscash, but... nevermind...) Anyways, I pretty much love this moveset. Thunder Wave was added to annoy those dumb COM Chansey because... Slash never takes them out in one hit. T.T
Scepter the male Sceptile @ Lum Berry
Ability: Overgrowth
Nature: Mild (I think)
Leaf Blade
Dragon Claw
Seismic Toss
Endeavor
I know quite well that Endeavor's not that amazing... I think I might save up for a Thunder Punch move tutor (I really wanted that Charizard doll... status symbol... ^^; ) to replace Endeavor, but... Hmmm... I should have bred him to know Crunch... Oh well... ^^;
I'm not breeding another Treecko ever, I thinks... But that Lum Berry has been eaten so much, it's not funny... why do all the COMs try to give Scepter status effects? ^^;
*future* Weezing @ ??? (maybe Leftovers, but I'll have to give Garnet something else then... Or maybe I give Weezing a Salac Berry)
Ability: Levitate
Nature: (ideally Adamant or Jolly, but my patience will be tested... ^^; )
Sludge Bomb
Will-o-Wisp
Shadow Ball
Destiny Bond
This Weezing is almost exactly a mirror of a Bannet I used in Saph's Battle Tower... I love this Weezing... But I never won the Saph Battle Tower because... I mixed records with this tornament-going guy... And... I can never beat the first two Pokémon he uses... o.o
But anyways, that's not the point. ^^;
.....
Also, in my Emerald team, I have... these guys. I almost never use them in the Battle Frontier, unless I'm bored or something... ^^;
So I dont' remember their stats as much...
Raichel the female Raichu @ ???
Nature: Modest
Volt Tackle
Thunderbolt
Reversal
???
I forgot what the last move was... I mostly have Raichel on my team for the Volt Tackle... Dumb reason, but still... ^^;
Celestia the female Flygon @ ???
Nature: (I think it's a neutral nature of some kind)
Flamethrower
Crunch
Earthquake(?)
???
... Maybe the last move was Fly. Or maybe I got rid of that attack for something else... ^^;
Aoi Shindo the male Whiscash @ Chesto Berry
Nature: (I think it's a neutral nature also)
Surf
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Rest
I use Aoi Shindo WAY too much in the Battle Pyramid because of Rest... But not much elsewhere. ^^;
Also, I was working on leveling up a Lavitar that would eventually have... Umm... I forgot... ^^; But Dratini > Charmandar > Lavitar was my last breeding project, and that took forever to get the attack to Lavitar... And now I don't know if I want to keep that attack... What a major waste of time... ^^;
