Is this an okay team?

Yeah, I reset my game for the sole purpose of collecting legendaries to transfer to my Daimond. I have 5 badges so far, and I've had a pretty hard time with the game so far. It took me almost a dozen tries before I beat Norman.

I think its lacking i dont know to me it seems you are missing my 2 favorite types of pokemon dragon and fire maybe if you added a Blaziken or a Dragonite in there it be much easier.

I think it's well balanced out, with several different pokemon types. Though I do suggest a fire pokemon, ad your team seems to be missing one.

I suggest replacing the Seviper with a fire type. It will give you an advantage when battling a wider range of pokemon.

@Jman10992: Although I have not played Sapphire, I doubt there will be any dragon types that early in the game.

Without knowing the exact moves your pokemon knows, i couldnt tell you if that was a good team or not. But as long as you have a wide selection of different move types across them, you should be fine.

As for dragon Types, well by gym 5 you would have passed through Meteor falls, where Bagon live... however these only live on a level bellow the normal area, and i think you might need waterfall to get to it. Still there should be Trapinch in the desert area, the evolved versions of which (Vibrava and Flygon) have part dragon type... oh and if you evolve that Swablu into Alteria it becomes Dragon/Flying... so its possible to have a Dragon Type in your squad about now.

Okay, I've got all eight badges, and captured Regirock and Kyogre of my preffered natures. I've yet to go through Victory Road though. I'm training there at the moment... and yes, I've got a Dragon type.

.... ^_^ I still suggest a fire-type, or a pokemon with a fire-type move, as you seemed to have avoided fire like the plague.

Good teams but I think you should next battle them until your dragon type learn sky attack....
