I'd have to agree. You get a bit more variety with the teams you battle, new areas to explore(including more Kanto pokemon in a new area of the Safari zone), and the Battle Frontier, which offers more challenges after the Elite Four, to name the big things. Although I dislike the greening of the headband on the heroine and there tends to be a berry glitch(which can be easily taken care of), it's a good game......Wow, I sound like an ad, don't I? *laughs*
Why are you reading this? It's not like there's anything to read here....Besides me telling you not to read this because I'm only telling you not to read it....How many seconds of your life have you wasted now?

A good part for the reasons Emerald has a low rating is because it isn't TOO much different compared to Ruby/Saph, so for the casual Pokémon fan, there isn't much of a reason as to why to get another Hoenn region game. However, if you lost your Ruby, then by all means, get it! As Aurora said, there are so many cool new things added here and there that make Emerald the best Hoenn region game! =D
I drop by every now and then... I shall never be just a memory! *cackles*
