Shiney pokemon in G/S/C
Shiney pokemon are rare and you have a 1/2500(around that number) chance of finding them and I heard you can't run away from a shiney pokemon. The second way you can get a shiney pokemon is in crystal the odd egg you get from the daycare has a chance of being rare. The last way I know is to mate a shiney pokemon with another pokemon and the rate of it being shiney would higher. For an example, take the red gyarados if it is male mate it with the female pokemon you want, if the gyarados is female mate it with ditto untill you get a shiney male magikarp then breed with the female pokemon you want.
