What game is it based on? I'm pretty sure that trading might work but who knows.

the quartz version is orginal, but the choas black version looks like firered and leaafgreen, but with different pokemon, and the routes look a bit different. in quarts version, you start with an Fireegg, an egg that can fight, and in choas black version you start with this thing that looks like a lion.

They are most likely pirated versions. China is notorious for its pirate market and none of those games are official Pokémon games. I would not try trading them with any proper Pokémon game, they probably cannot communicate and chances are if they could they would screw up one or both games.

no, it's choas. Weird word. But AS it turned out, quartz is made by a spanish producer. Soemthing caled Baro boar. No idea what that means. But Choas black was just a waste of money. IT has some cool pokemon though.

So, is quartz good? Or awful like chaos?

(I'm guessing awful)

IT's not bad. A bit like emerald, but you get turned into a pokemon adn wander around for a while. Then you get changed back. APparyently, it SAYS you can trade with firered and LEafgreen, but I'm not taking the chance of a virus.

Why do people who call everything that crashes their electronics a virus.... :-| Seriously, if you have a spare copy of something that you don't need then try it.
