Just run around in the grass or on the routes...you're sure to find it wandering around soon.

However, I've been tracking Latios for a long time (I never catch it because I want to continue to monitor its movement patterns), and it seems like it only hangs out in the eastern side of Hoenn (Routes 110 and 117 - 134). Latias might be found in the western side, but that's only a hunch.

Good luck! :D

While on the topic of Lati*s, do you get an unlimited amount of chances at catching it like the legendary dogs or do you just get one chance, like with Lugia and Ho-oh?

Please do not PM me about bugs on the Adoption Agency. Instead, make a topic in the bugs forum.

i would say it would be abit of both - if it runs away you can still find it but if you faint it then its gone for good.
:) I will type to anyone :)

Correction, if either you or it runs away you can still find it.

Thanks, but I am too good for Latias. She cannot hide from me forever. When I am able to see her area in my pokedex, I will make quick work of her.

Latias and Latios both are very difficult to catch. Every time you use Fly, they fly away to a different area than before. If you run into one, and damage it, the next time you find it, it will be damaged the same. It runs frequently, so use Mean Look to prevent it from runing. Its at level 40, too.

That's not the only place they are found. They are found randomly across the Hoenn region. I started a new game on my Sapphire, and I'm only at the part where you are chasing Team Aqua and trying to stop them from awakening Kyogre, so I haven't got to Latias yet.
