That's exactly why, you used rare candies. If only for 10 levels, if I remember correctly rare candies mean you don't gain any stat boosts like you would from battling at all. At the very LEAST you gain +1 in every stat each level so that's 10 points in each stat gone, plus you usually gain about 2 or 3 in one stat depending on where you're training. If you're EV training you could potentially have lost out on 30-40 points in one stat which is a big difference.Secreyes wrote:And someone said they are for noobs... 30 or 40? But I only used ten, don't you barly get EV in R/B/Y? Because this was on red, Well, I'm acully just trying to prove legenarys aren't invincable... Plus, I'd like to se some one else go and raise your pokemon to LV 94 without rare candys, well, mewtwo only lost when he got Frozen (Curse the cold!!!) or -sometimes when another one (Beside burn) showed up- This was BEFORE Dark and steel types... (Gotta lov' darks! Knocked Psys of their throne!!!)

That is kind of rude...some people just like the legendary pokemon for their attacks, etc. Brushing them off as pokemon for new players only (and the same goes for dark pokemon) is disrespectful. Sure, it may be your opinion, but, as a moderator, you should be more respectful to the other members. Some people may like the legendary pokemon, some may prefer dark types. Don't put someone down for their preferences. That would be like saying, "Chocolate ice cream is only for girls." Such generalizations can be found rather offensive. You even called someone an idiot in here because they "talked back to a mod." Don't let the title go to your head.Pikachu90000 wrote:As for me... None, legendary Pokemon are ment for newbies or n00bs that don't know the game. Real players use other Pokemon. Semi-legendary are ok.
Anyways, on topic, my favorites are Articuno and Mew. I really can't think which I like more. Mew can learn all the tms, etc., and Articuno is just aestetically pleasing. I want to make a human Articuno costume. ^_^
I like all of the legendary pokemon in the games for how they are almost like a minigame in themselves. There are all different ways to catch them, and they are only in one place in the games. That is fun to me. ^_^

I think we all know that I'm a very rude person as proven by my rage. I didn't call someone an idoit.HarukaChan wrote:That is kind of rude...some people just like the legendary pokemon for their attacks, etc. Brushing them off as pokemon for new players only (and the same goes for dark pokemon) is disrespectful.
