Shiny POkemon in R/S

I have a question: Anyone know if it's possible to get a shiny starter when you get your starter?

Yes. Just like you can with shiny legendaries. The chances are the same as running into a shiny PokÃƒÂ©mon in the wild, so it's still VERY rare. Bah. Over 700 hours play time on Gold and Ruby combined and I've never seen a single wild shiny PokÃƒÂ©mon

Yes there are shiny starters but it's Very VERY rare

I've run into a Shiny Sandshrew on R/S, didn't even know it was Shiny at first because I wasn't paying attention, but I wanted a Sandshrew and I caught it, and then I realized it looked strange. Turns out it was shiny

. That's all I have on R/S, my friend found a Shiny Duskull though.

I did find a Shiny Rattata on G/S though. Not to mention that Gyarados everyone should have

You can get sandshrew on R/S? I thought that was one you couldn't get! My mistake! By the way, I got a shiny wailmer one time! But I accidently restarted my game! I was so mad! In my silver I once got a shiny drowzee! I'm lucky!

did you ever look in the desert or on the route spinda is found. that is where sandshrew is found on r/s

Gyarados (that red one) is not found in R/S, this topic is about shinies in R/S.

Saw a shiny in the battle tower I think it was a Salamance not sure though, was the only shiny pokemon i've seen thus far.
