Not much is known about the game, except that it's coming. We'll learn more about Pokemon Emerald when the issue comes out. Check back here in the news for any updates on Pokemon Emerald.

Oh God no, just when I thought PokÃƒÂ©mon was getting out of the habit of making a pointless add-on game to each series. Now I can see them making a GBA version of PokÃƒÂ©mon Yellow. Yay. More pointless games for PokÃƒÂ©mon fans to waste their money on.

What the hell is Powerchu playing at, this is games news, he should have added it to the website by now or at least posted a news update about it

It's not a remake of yellow, it is probaly a remake of RS... and when we thought we had enough of remakes for one year

No I know that, please read my post through more carefully, I said that since they're making a remake of Ruby/Sapphire I can see them making a remake of Fire Red/Leaf Green, in this case PokÃƒÂ©mon Yellow

I hate these kind of games. Tho yellow was more fun. Yellow was the first pokemon game i got. I like pikachu following you around ^__^ But Crystal was really dumb. I can see Emerald have something to do with Rayquazza. >__> I WANT THE 4th GENERATION OF POKEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like there is no more old towns like Lavaridge

Oh, sure sounds good ... I'm actually excited now about this one, I don't care if it's a remake as long as it's better than the previous ones. I'm gonna have to check it out when it gets released.

it'll be a long time before this is released, i mean, barely any news of it has been announced (or leaked) in Japan. Not many people were excited about Fr/Lg in E3. Everyone plays the original... Now thats off topic. Dont comment on that.

According from Serebii they said that Emerald will be realsed in Sep16 2004 and in the US in Q1 of 2005.

from what information I have seen on the game so far it mihgt be early to say this but I think it might be safe to say that if there are new pokemon in this game then this would be the start of the 4th generation. lol

Well, nintendo never released any "newer" pokemon in the add-ons of games.

I don't really care about the exact date, it will be released when it's released right? I'm just gonna watch all the sites for information on it so I can try it out when it comes to stores!
