How do you obtain Celebi?

To start off I placed this topic here because it regards both Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Colosseum and Fire Red/Leaf Green. Basically, how do you get Celebi in any of the above mentioned games without cheating? I know you can obtain Celebi through Colosseum in the Japanese version, but that was taken out of the western release. As far as I'm aware, out of all 386, Celebi is the only unknown PokÃƒÂ©mon left that we do not know how to capture. Am I correct?

I don't really understand why Celebi is the rarest of them all, it's probably the worst legendary of them all, I have a Shiny Celebi on Gold (yes, I cheated, shoot me XD

) and it's moveset is horrible. It's stats mirror this also. It's really not a very good PokÃƒÂ©mon, so why is it so secretly guarded

The Japanese bonus disk had it. I remember on http://pprlforum.abwayax.net/index.php?topic=66.0 it had some way of getting Celebi. But it is not offical yet

there is the celebi glitch on ruby, it appears on the route with the house with the woman who gives pamtre berry, like 1/300 000 chance, 280 000 something go be exact, which makes it the rarest pokemon ever, tied exactly with finding a wild missingno

I remember having a Shiny Celebi cause I begged someone to trade me one that they gamesharked. ... Oooh... That's the only time I ever made use of a Game Shark. Meh. Anyways, I kinda like Celebi.... Maybe Nintendo'll have an e-card promotion thing?

Nintendo stopped doing e-cards I believe.

I would like to see celebi be done like how they did jirachi with the colosseum bonus disc. maybe Nintendo could do a bonus disc of XD and put celebi on it.

I know a Way to get it on gold..... But Its Very Hard Though....

1: Get All Pokemon In Gold.
2: Go to Kurt and get the GS Ball.
3: Go in the Forest and Place the GS Ball on the Shine where you first "Cut".
4: Celebi Will Appear on the Screen.

It worked on my Game..... It should work.

I don't beleive if you get all pokemon you get celebi.

That was the method to get it in the Japanese Crystal version, not Gold
