Finally! What a lot of Pokemon fans have waited since Pokemon R/S appeared first on GBA, a Gold & Silver version remake!!!
The cool thing is that the GS remakes are coming this year (well, in Japan), 10 years after the original Generation II first appeared on GBC.
What do you think? Will the GS remakes become the game that fans hae long waited for, or will they become a great deception for fans?

Re: GS Revival!
if you've seen the pictures on our main page, you know this game looks good. And it also seems that your starter follows you around in the same way Pikachu did in Pokémon Yellow. Whether it works in exactly the same way or if there's something else going on here, we dont know yet. hopefully we'll find out that info soon

Re: GS Revival!
Having seen some screenshots of the game I am very excited. Gold/Silver is my favourite Pokémon generation and so getting a brand new update of the game with all of the features from generations since its original release has me awaiting it eagerly.

Yeah, G/S is also my favorite pokemon generation of all. It was the first videogame i ever played when i was 3 years old. Finnally we will be able to get all(or at least the mayority) the 493 Pokemon(except for Mew,Celebi,Deoxis,Jirachi,Darkai,Arceus and Shaymin) with only having a R/S/E, a FR/LG, D/P/Pl and HG/SS. Which is good, 'cause some of the best Pokémon are from Gen II(well, in my opinion)Pikachu3828 wrote:Gold/Silver is my favourite Pokémon generation and so getting a brand new update of the game with all of the features from generations since its original release has me awaiting it eagerly.

hopefully the ill fated celebi quest from the original G/S games will make its way into the remakes in some way... thus allowing most people able to get Celebi - one of the harder to get 'event' pokemon.

But that quest was from Crystal, not G/S so it's not an assured thing. I doubt the Suicine quest will make it into the remakes either.
