I made an account 2 days ago and I didn't receive activation e-mail, but then here I am today.
I haven't figured out how to catch Pokemon, do we need Pokeballs, how to go to map to find Pokemon, etc.

you dont really catch pokemon here - they are found, traded or given away in a viraity of ways on the AA - have a look around, you'll start finding where some can be obtained in no time
