way to deal with spammers

when i was making my own site making new groups i noticeded that you can turn a person's flood control up.So why dont you make a group called spammers and have like 1 or 2 minute flood control as a punishment.

Dude, you need Modifcations for phpBB to do that. Also Roy is at school now.

That's a good idea but as Pika9 said I'd have to install a modification for that and as you said you already need to identify the spammers first to place them in the group when usually if they're identified I just punish/ban them.
