We need another forum board
We need another forum board for teaching people how to use proper grammer and spelling....
It's annoying to see constant mistakes.
This is a forum, not a chatroom.

Our jobs as active members is to teach new members how to type proper English, it's kind of sad when your in a English speaking country and you don't know how to spell "you" properly. Though I'm NOT going to be making one, like miradapurple, I would be using profanity like crazy and yelling at people and making people feel bad about themselves for not typing "you" properly.

Is this posted in the rules somewhere? I must've missed it.Pikachu90000 wrote:Our jobs as active members is to teach new members how to type proper English
You really are expecting much of members. Unlike most forums, this place does not have an age policy, and therefore, we have many younger users. I mean, it's fine to polietly point a gramatical error when someone makes one, but a whol forum for tutoring other members is a little drastic...

It's our job to be good role models to the newbies by telling other people how to type proper English.Shrine Sprite wrote:Is this posted in the rules somewhere? I must've missed it.Pikachu90000 wrote:Our jobs as active members is to teach new members how to type proper English
Then we should have an age policy, this place is filled with 9 year olds that don't know how to type proper English. Set the age limit to 11-12ish.You really are expecting much of members. Unlike most forums, this place does not have an age policy, and therefore, we have many younger users.
Firefox said that previous sentence contained 3 words that have been spelt wrong. A simple grammatical error as point out to use capitals is okay but, when a person spells everything wrong and tieps LEKi DIS!!!!!!!!!!!oneoenoeneoneoen!!!!!!!!!!111111. That's just wrong.I mean, it's fine to polietly point a gramatical error when someone makes one, but a whol forum for tutoring other members is a little drastic...

Do you honestly believe that new people would go onto a forum like this? Guess why the homework help forum isnt popularly used, people don't come here to learn, they come to have fun.
What about people who could be young and not used to typing, or might be from other countries where English isn't their first language, or could be dyslexic and be useless at spelling. It's not their fault if their posts are spelt wrong or have grammatical errors.
And yes, I am aware that my spelling isn't good.

You just said it yourself. Be a good role model and don't try to force it on others. If someone redirected me to a 'learn to to spell' forum, I would quit in a heartbeat.Pikachu90000 wrote:It's our job to be good role models to the newbies by telling other people how to type proper English.Shrine Sprite wrote:Is this posted in the rules somewhere? Come on guys. I get fed up with spelling errors to, at times, but it IS drastic. And even someone prefect with english could make a mistake or too. Do you seriously think others will join it? Heck no, they'd reject the offer at once. Ones with even bigger attitudes would quit, or rant right away. And if we added a script to make sure they read a how to spell thing, they might be like 'this is a waste of time. Spf. Forget this!' All this will NOT help our systems.
Speaking of age, Miradapurple, Pikachu90000 how old are you too? 12? Come on, gang. Tolerate the spelling like I do. >_> It's not that bad.
And I SWEAR if someone points at ONE mispelled words, or badly used grammer in my6 speak here.,...!
~~~~~
Ahead of time, sorry if it does use a bit of emotion in my post, but you to thinking people will GO for this idea, that have a problem with spelling...
~~~
And what IF English isn't their first language, as well? Its like them telliung us to learn their language perfectly. Maybe their just trying to use english enough to be on here? Come on, consider the reasons that are out there as to WHY they may not be perfect with grammer.
~~~~~~~~
And about as much anger, if NOT more, I might have used in this post should show you, on a slight scale, how other will feel about this.
